Digital tools and project information
01 / Project data integration and automation

One source of project information, and a record of where it came from

Schedule, cost, BIM, quality and field data are connected from the agreed systems into a single controlled view, with the WBS and CBS aligned and the codes defined once. Python automation handles import, reconciliation and validation; a project-specific Django application carries the reporting, data entry and review workflows. Permissions, change records and source references make the position traceable.

Purpose & approach

Useful information starts with reliable connections.

Construction information is often split between scheduling tools, ERP systems and spreadsheets. We define the relationships between those sources, agree data ownership and build repeatable workflows that make updates easier to understand and verify.

Scope of support

What we do.

The service is tailored to the assignment. We agree the scope, required inputs and acceptance criteria before delivery.

01

Source mapping and data assessment

Identify the systems, files and people behind each reporting requirement. Review data structures, update frequency and known quality issues before designing the integration.

02

WBS and CBS alignment

Map schedule activities, work packages, cost codes and project locations. Maintain agreed reference tables so performance can be compared at a useful and consistent level.

03

Python data workflows

Develop repeatable imports, transformations and checks for the agreed sources. Record rejected records and exceptions instead of silently passing unreliable information into reports.

04

Web applications and access

Use tools such as Python and Django to make approved information accessible through a project-focused interface. Agree roles, access and hosting requirements with the client team.

05

Automated reporting

Build role-specific dashboards and recurring reporting packs. Include source references, refresh timestamps and definitions so users can understand the basis of the information.

06

Ownership and handover

Document mappings, calculation rules and operating procedures. Train nominated users and agree how changes to source systems and reporting requirements will be managed.

Your questions

Define the right assignment.

Must we replace our existing systems?

Integration begins with the systems already in use. The appropriate approach depends on the access, export and interface options those systems provide.

How often will information update?

The refresh frequency is agreed for each source. A dashboard can only be as current as the information supplied to it, so refresh times and outstanding updates remain visible.

Start a conversation

Let’s define the support you need.

The result is a defined controlled reporting basis: agreed data, transparent rules and a clear route back to the source.
