Model-linked planning on a nuclear new build.
PALLAS is a nuclear research reactor project in Petten, the Netherlands. The assignment with the main contractor began in September 2025 and connects the construction sequence to the design model.
Sequence built from the model
Building models are taken from IFC into a 4D environment and linked to the schedule, so the proposed sequence can be reviewed as construction rather than as a bar chart.
Schedule and model kept in step
Activity codes, model objects and work areas are aligned. Model revisions are reviewed against those links, and their effects on sequencing and schedule activities are reconciled through the agreed change process.
Data integration behind the reporting
Schedule and model data are brought into one structure, which is what makes progress against the sequence reportable rather than described.
Review model-linked sequences alongside approved work prerequisites, interfaces and handover requirements. A 4D view supports that review; it does not establish licensing compliance.
Figures describe the scale of the assignment, rather than the overall project or a measured performance improvement.
